Kaws - The Long Way Home - Exhibition

Currently on view in LA is the infamous New York artist Kaws with latest exhibition titled ‘The Long Way Home’. Presented by Honor Fraser the show is open from February 21 to April 04. Kaws - well known for his fashion label Original Fake, collaborations with Japanese labels such as Bathing Ape, and his popular vinyl toys, will be in LA exhibiting solo for the first time a range of canvas paintings and sculptures. The exhibition showcases paintings of his usual ‘cross-section of familiar cultural icons’, while the sculptures and installations play with scale and proportion. If I was in LA this would definitely be on my to do list. Coming a long way from his graffiti roots, one of Kaws pieces recently sold in Japan for a whopping $400,000…
